I’m a daughter, sister, friend and former librarian who pivoted into hanging up my shingle as an entrepreneur during the pandemic. I’m a Colorado native who’s been in Broomfield, graduated from Broomfield High in 1988 and the University of Colorado at Boulder in 2002. I’ve worked as medical assistant, was considering nursing, but decided against it, and then became a librarian in Adams county before opening Century Plant Publishing in 2021.

Q: Please tell us a little bit about your family.
I moved to Broomfield in 1977 with my parents and sister, Deanna. My brother, Bob, was in the army. My parents were both natives of Washington state. They move 21 times in the first 20 years of marriage, but Colorado’s sunny weather kept drawing them back and we stayed for good in 1976, living in an apartment in Boulder until the house was finished.
